Vision
Empowering Women’s Leadership
Our strategic vision is to cultivate and empower women leaders in West Virginia by providing transformative opportunities for growth and development. Through collaborative efforts with our funders and partners, we aim to achieve key milestones that will drive positive change in our communities.
Key milestones include the launch of our program in Summer 2025, welcoming the inaugural cohort. We will facilitate introductions to Marshall University and West Virginia women leaders, followed by a trip to Washington, DC, to engage with The George Washington University and national leaders. Throughout the year, we will host supportive programming, including a winter gala to celebrate the cohort's achievements and an end-of-year celebration to recognize their progress and invite them to continue their involvement in the program alongside the incoming cohort.

Private Funders: We actively seek support from private funders who share our mission of empowering women’s leadership. By engaging with private foundations, corporations, and individual donors, we aim to secure sustainable funding streams that enable us to continue and expand our programs. These partnerships not only provide financial support but also offer valuable opportunities for collaboration and mutual benefit.
-
✺
Public Funders: We also explore opportunities with public funders that prioritize gender-based initiatives and support organizations working towards women’s empowerment. Government agencies, such as state departments of education or women’s affairs, may offer grants or funding opportunities specifically designed to address gender disparities and promote women's leadership. By leveraging these resources, we can further amplify our impact and reach underserved communities effectively.

✺
Diversification of Funding Sources: In addition to private and public funders, we recognize the importance of diversifying our funding sources to ensure financial stability and sustainability. This includes exploring avenues such as corporate sponsorships, individual donations, crowdfunding campaigns, and earned revenue streams through fee-based services or merchandise sales. By diversifying our funding base, we can reduce dependency on any single source and mitigate financial risks while maximizing opportunities for growth and impact.

✺
Expanding Partnerships: Collaboration is key to our success in scaling our programs and reaching more women and girls. We actively seek to expand our partnerships with like-minded organizations, academic institutions, community groups, and government agencies. By forging strategic alliances, we can leverage each other's strengths, resources, and networks to enhance program delivery, expand reach, and amplify our collective impact. These partnerships also provide opportunities for shared learning, capacity building, and innovation, fostering a collaborative ecosystem dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in West Virginia.

✺
Increasing Organizational Capacity: As we scale our programs, we are committed to enhancing our organizational capacity to effectively manage growth and deliver high-quality services. This includes investing in staff development, infrastructure improvements, technology upgrades, and systems enhancements to streamline operations and improve efficiency. By strengthening our organizational capacity, we can better respond to the evolving needs of our participants, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term impact.

Overall, our sustainability and scalability strategy is grounded in a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By diversifying funding sources, expanding partnerships, and enhancing organizational capacity, we are well-positioned to sustain our impact over time and scale our programs to empower more women and girls across West Virginia.
